📅 Six Steps to Successful Camp Planning

The Camp Hi-Sierra Leaders Guide outlines these six key steps:

  1. Organize Your Unit ... Select unit leadership, plan transportation, communicate with families
  2. Register & Pay ... Secure your campsite with deposits on schedule
  3. Prepare Your Scouts … complete CampDoc health forms, merit badge planning, gear readiness
  4. Sign Up for Merit Badges ... Scoutmasters complete sign-ups (NOT parents)
  5. Arrive Prepared ... Check-in Sunday 1:00 to 4:00 PM with all required documents
  6. Follow Up After Camp ... Complete advancement records, plan for next year

2026 Camp Fees (Per Scout, Per Week)

Early Bird (by Nov 15) Regular
In Council $795 $825
Out of Council $840 $875

Free Youth T-Shirt: Included for Youth Members who paid the in-council rate OR registered before November 15, 2025 (early-bird rate). Sizes due May 17, 2026 — submit in BlackPug under Update Information for each eligible Scout. The free shirt has a different design from the optional purchase T-shirt available through the camp store.

Adults: No charge for registered adult leaders meeting two-deep leadership requirements

Extra Adult Fee: $125/night for adults beyond the minimum required (if unit does not have sufficient leadership, camp may charge $125/night or send the unit home after 8 hours)

Guest Meals: Breakfast $20, Lunch $25, Dinner $30
